The 29th Comparative Germanic Syntax Workshop is taking place at the University of York on September 26-27. UMass is represented by Nicholas LaCara, who will be presenting his paper “Why there is no Verb Stranding in Scandinavian.” York University is also hosting a workshop entitled “The State of the Art in Comparative Syntax,” immediately before CGSW.
